7 Kitchen Design Ideas
In deciding on how to design your kitchen, you must take into consideration such things as: will your kitchen have an island? Will it be of a modern or traditional design? What kinds of appliances will you need for your new kitchen design? What kind of lighting design? Kitchen design ideas include a kitchen canopy, color of cabinets to set the tone of the kitchen, selecting the right lighting design, and type or material used for countertops.1. Whether you are redesigning an existing kitchen or planning a new kitchen in a new home there are some design considerations to keep in mind, such as including in an island or peninsula as part of the kitchen design. These can be used to connect the kitchen to a nearby dining area or family room thereby creating a 'great room'. A kitchen island or peninsula will allow the cook to keep in visual and conversational contact with family members or guests in the adjoining family or dining room.
2. Create a Kitchen Canopy
To give the kitchen some visible borders without blocking views create a kitchen canopy. Also a high ceiling in the kitchen can create the perception of spaciousness.
3. Using Kitchen Cabinet Color to Set Tone of Kitchen Design
Kitchen cabinets will help set the tone for the whole room. The choice of wood will influence the overall look of your cabinets. To create a light look, use a light wood such as ash, beech, birch, oak, maple, or chestnut. For medium range, select cherry. To darker kitchens, choose wood that has some color to it.
4. Plan Out Use of Cabinets and Drawers in The New Kitchen Design

Small Balcony Ideas
I have a really small balcony (1m x 4m) which faces north and it’s lovely to sit with a cup of coffee, read the paper or munch on a piece of toast in the morning sunshine – if only I could fit! No matter how many different ways I have tried to organise that balcony, it has been a constant decorating challenge. Small tables and chairs always over-crowd the space making it impractical to move around and walk down to the yard - until I discovered the Hanging Balcony Table.
It looked pretty ridiculous online, but for $59.95 it was worth giving it a try.When it arrived, it was a little larger than I thought and solved the problem perfectly. Coupled with a bench seat from IKEA and these cute little pink and scarlet outdoor cushions, I have the perfect place to sit in the mornings to watch the birds and enjoy the sunshine.
Being a rented apartment I am sort of limited to what I can do, but I’m not 100% happy with it yet. While I have the furniture in position, the next step is to add some plants which I will also hang from the balcony and perhaps some wood deck tiles like these (about $15 - $25 per tile) – to make it a little more modern;

Contemporary Concrete Home with Amazing Interiors in New New Zealand
Here is a home by Stevens Lawson Architects with an original and highly interesting architecture overlooking Browns Island in the Waitemata Harbour, New Zealand. Even though its exterior is certainly unique, the first impression when looking at this home is definitely not one of comfort or coziness. But don’t let the gray concrete fool you. As one steps inside, the perspective changes in an unexpected and pleasant way.
A beautiful and stylish timber staircase connects the interiors. Its spiral shape has a dynamic effect on the overall interior design and is complemented by an elegant timber handrail. Karaka Bay House has a total of three floors which house the bedrooms on the upper level, the living areas situated on the middle floor and a guest room below. Small One Room Apartment Interior Design Inspiration

Last week I was in Bucharest to meet a few people that I knew from the internet. We spoke for a long time online but we never saw each other in real life, and I’ve decided that right now I could go to visit Bucharest and meet a few of my “digital friends“. Now to avoid paying between 50 - 100 euro/night to stay at a hotel a good friend of mine ( Adi ) took me to his little one room apartment, and how I have a blog about architecture, interior design, furniture, etc …I’ve decided to take some pictures, because I really liked how Adi made that small place look really good. Now let’s take a look at this small one room apartment, that is a great example of how you can make a small apartment look really good.
At night these red lights make a very romantic and calming atmosphere.
Here you can see the bed and a small part of the kitchen …yes I know is very small.

Best lighting design on unique shape
Here are several best lighting design on unique shape, on first lighting, we can see a wall lamp with red color.
This wall lamp is beautiful in its simplicity. At just a fraction of the cost of the losing Tears chandelier, the Tango Wall’s wavy design is aesthetically pleasing without taking over the room. While pictured here on a wood panel wall, the Tango could easily enhance a room of almost any style.
